| On October 14, 2005, President Tom Greenberg recognizes Erin O'Donnell for her work in organizing the volunteers for the Oktoberfest Raffle. The event raised over $11,000.00. |
| On September 23rd, Brian Anderson from the Darien Rotary chapter provides a program on the contributions that Rotary has provided during the Hurricane Katrina disaster relief. Brian was part of a group that provides 3 trunk/trailers of supplies to Mississippi in the first few days after the disaster. |

On a August 12, Joe Deters from Nicor Gas presented on a program on the way they store natural gas for their customers in porous rock under ground in Illinois. This allows for flexibility for purchasing and distribution of natural gas for Napervillians.
On July 22, 2005, District Governor Rick Thiernau was welcomed
to the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise meeting by Tom Greenberg, Club
President. The photo below shows Rick receiving a token gift from the club

North Central College is the host for our January meetings. On the last meeting of the month, Dr. Wilde, President of the College provides the current events of the College. Dr. Wilde provides the history and vision of the College's role in supporting the Arts in the Naperville community. Also shown above is the breakfast buffet provided for the members. The next meeting will be back at the Naperville Country Club.

Brian R. SchultzBrian R. Schultz, 28, of Naperville died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in Chicago. He was born June 15, 1976, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He is survived by his parents, Jan and Peggy Schultz; a brother, Peter; a sister, Claire; his grandparents, Shirley Hennebry and Anneliese Schultz; aunts and uncles, Andy (wife Jeannie) Schultz, Dan (wife Pam) Hennebry and Bridget Hennebry; and cousins, Jennifer and Jason Schultz and Katie and Andy Hennebry. In lieu of flowers, donations may directed to the J. Kyle Braid Leadership Foundation, 53634 Road NN 56, P.O. Box 166, Villa Grove, CO 81155. Brian will be genuinely missed by our club. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. |
